The fine print, in plain words

Privacy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

The short version: we collect what you submit in our forms, and we use it to send the New Shelf digest and make intros you approve. We don’t sell your data.

What we collect

  • Shops: shop name, city and state (or “online only”), website or Instagram, the categories and price range you pick, how you usually buy (optional), and your email.
  • Brands: your name, brand, product details and prices, category, and your email.

How we use it

  • To send shops the digest and match products to the tags you choose.
  • To make intros between a shop and a brand, only when the shop says yes.
  • To tell brands on the waitlist when intros open in their category.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell or rent your information.
  • We don’t give shop contact details to brands without the shop’s okay.
  • This website has no tracking scripts or advertising cookies.

Who helps us

Our forms run on Tally, a form service, and we keep responses in the tools we use to run New Shelf (such as a spreadsheet and email). They handle your information only so we can do the things above.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe anytime by replying to any email from us. You can also ask us to show you, change, or delete what we have about you.
